**We have updated our ADA Policies to align with Industry Standards as of July 1, 2024. Please note these changes.**
Tampa Bay Comic Convention strives to create an inclusive and friendly environment for all attendees. We are happy to provide various services to help you enjoy your experience!
1. Parking
Tampa Bay Comic Convention does not have reserved parking for the event. However, Tampa Parking Info has information on finding spaces in the Convention Center.

2. ADA Registration and Re-Entry Locations
To pick up your wristband for the event, an ADA registration area is on the main level under the stairs near the Bay, called the "Channel" Entrance (please refer to the map below). Please have your QR codes ready from your email confirmations. Elevators are available for your use there.
ADA Registration will accept Cash, Credit Cards, and your QR Code from your email confirmation for wristbands at this location.
ADA Re-entry for the convention will be at Franklin St. doors.
Tampa Bay Comic Convention provides Medical wristbands to individuals with accessibility needs.
This wristband identifies you to staff, crew, and security and indicates that you may need more help.
**Please note that the Medical wristband does not provide admission; you must have a valid ticket. The Medical wristband does not provide early access to the show nor guarantees seating or priority access to any areas of the show.**
More information on the convention center can be found here Tampa Convention Center

3. ADA Waiting Areas in the Grand Ballroom
In Photo Ops, we will keep your group together. When the celebrity or group is ready, ADA groups will be given special consideration to enter, as space permits. After you get your Photo Op and pick up the print, you can leave the Photo Op area! If you are using a wheelchair and would like to stand for your Photo Op, you can request to have the wheelchair moved out of the picture and returned to you when the photo is complete. You may have four (4) people per Photo Op. Babies under one year do not count.
4. Celebrity Row/Autographs. Unfortunately, we cannot allow priority signings at the conventions. Given the limited time guests are available for signing, fans cannot use lines other than what they are ticketed for. Please line up according to your ticket type.
We recommend that someone within your group wait in line for you. When your group reaches the front of the line, you may rejoin them for your signing.
Portable stools are also recommended.
Lines are wheelchair and scooter accessible and may be used while you wait in line.
If you would like to get a “selfie” with the celebrity, and they allow it, a crew member or your companion can use your phone to take a picture of you. *Please check that photo before you leave the table*.
5. ASL Interpreters
At the Tampa Bay Comic Convention, we're dedicated to inclusivity. We offer ASL interpreting and/or captioning services to our deaf and hearing-impaired fans.
Grand Ballroom Panels: ASL interpreting and/or live captioning will be available in the Grand Ballroom (our main celebrity panel room) for all panels without prior request.
Other Panels & Activities: Our ASL interpreters are available at a limited capacity. Tampa Bay Comic Convention can accommodate requests up to two weeks before the convention’s start date. Because of the demand for interpreters, we cannot guarantee the ability to accommodate requests made after that time via email or on-site. **Please note the dates and times of the event can change. We will do our best to honor your request and email with any changes.**
If you would like to request an interpreter in advance, please fill out this form at least two weeks before the convention's first day.
Individual Requests: Because of the demand for interpreters, on-site requests for a dedicated interpreter at the Tampa Bay Comic Convention may not be able to be facilitated. We encourage you to use the form before the convention for your interpreter needs. If you need those services and have missed the request deadline, we encourage you to contact a local ASL staffing organization to get one. Your interpreter will require the purchase of a ticket for the dates on which they will be assisting you.
6. Mother's Room
We will also have a specified Family Room (Room 402). This room is for families to have a space to take children who need to decompress. It will also include a secluded area for mothers to nurse. Please, only Mothers in the nursing area.
7. Harassment Policy
At the Tampa Bay Comic Convention, you can access a way to report harassment 24/7. Together, we hope to send a clear message to participants that bullying, abuse, assault, or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.
During the event, anyone who witnesses a violation of the Zero Tolerance Harassment Policy should contact a Convention Crew member, staff member, or a staff member wearing a badge or write to the customer support line.
