ABOUT THE PHOTO OP SCHEDULE:
In your ticket title, you will see both the day of your photo op and the session. When viewing the photo op schedule (on the app or the Tampa Bay Website), you will see the Celebrity's session times listed each day for easy reference. Please arrive at the time set for the day and session listed in your ticket title.
Please arrive 15 minutes before the Photo Op time listed on the schedule for the day and session on your ticket — no earlier, no later. The session system is in place to limit your wait times as much as possible. Arriving too early for your photo op session will cause unnecessary congestion at the queue entrance, often causing other fans to miss their currently queueing photo op as well as adding to your wait time needlessly.
When you arrive at the queue entrance for your photo op, you will see monitors with queue open times and queue line numbers for currently queueing photo ops. Please reference your photo op/session to find out what queue line you need to be in (if the queue is open) or when your queue will open. If you see a line number listed by your celebrity & session, proceed to the queue line number listed (you will see the queue line numbers on the floor in front of each line). If an open time is still listed, please enjoy the rest of the event until it is time to return and enter your queue.
We will do our best to stick to the schedule, but sometimes there is overlap with other Photo Op Sessions, Panels, or other events you’re interested in. If this happens, you will be able to swap your Photo Op Session for another time, date, or another Celebrity Guest, if available. If you have questions about overlapping ops or need assistance swapping, visit the photo op sales desk or ask one of the Celeb Photo Ops staff members, who will be happy to help. You can also perform upgrades and swaps on your own through your Growtix account. 2 or more Photo Ops occur at any given time. Don't forget you can also email Celeb Photo Ops at Celeb Photo Ops with questions about overlapping ops before the event.
WHAT IS A PHOTO OP?
It is a professional photo taken with an individual star or a group of actors from your favorite TV show or movie. Each Photo Op includes a glossy 8″ x 10″ print and a downloadable digital version you can download from Digital Copies
WHAT DO I NEED TO GET A PHOTO OP?
First, you need valid admission to the Tampa Bay Comic Convention for the day of your Photo Op session. Second, you’ll need to pre-purchase a Photo Op on our website or during the event on your mobile device or at the Celeb Photo Ops sales desk.
Pro Tip: Want to avoid extra lines? Use your mobile device to purchase your photo ops while at the event!
Be sure you have those QR codes ready (printed or on your mobile device) when arriving for the day/session of the photo op you purchased.
LEARN THE PHOTO OP PROCESS BELOW:
Quick Tips for making your photo op process as smooth as possible.
- You are allowed up to four (4) attendees in a photo op per Photo Op ticket purchased. No exceptions. If you wish to have more than 4 in your photo op, you must purchase an additional photo op ticket before your session (up to a maximum of 8). Otherwise, those additional attendees will be turned away at Photo Op Check-In. Babies under one year do not count.
- In the title of the photo op ticket you've purchased, you will see both the day of your photo op and the session number. When viewing the photo op schedule (on the app or the Tampa Bay Website), you will see the Celebrity's session times listed daily for easy reference. Please arrive at the time set for the day and session listed in your ticket title.

The session system is in place to limit your wait times as much as possible. Arriving too early for your photo op session will cause unnecessary congestion at the queue entrance, often causing other fans to miss their currently queueing photo op and add to your wait time needlessly.
- When you arrive at the queue entrance for your photo op, you will see monitors with queue open times and line numbers for currently queueing photo ops. Please reference your photo op/session to find out what queue line you need to be in (if the queue is open) or when your queue will open. If you see a line number listed by your celebrity & session, please go ahead and go to the queue line number listed (you will see the queue line numbers on the floor in front of each line). If an open time is still listed, please enjoy the rest of the event until it is time to return and enter your queue.
- When you arrive at the queue entrance for your scheduled photo op time, have your QR code for your Photo Op Sessions ready. You can print your QR code, take a screenshot on your phone, or add it to your wallet on iOS. This will keep lines moving quickly. QR codes will be verified before entering the photo op booth for your photo moment.
STEP BY STEP
Step 1: Purchase your photo op.
Step 2: Print your QR code from your purchase and add it to your Apple wallet.
Step 3. Double-check the photo op schedule on either the app or the Tampa Bay website for your photo op day and session time listed in your ticket title. Pro Tip: Photo op scheduled times are subject to change based on the celebrity guest's schedule. Be sure to check back as the event approaches and even at the event itself!
Step 4: Pat yourself on the back because you're doing great!
Step 5: Showtime! Arrive at the photo op queue entrance 15 minutes before your scheduled photo op time. Pro tip: If you attempt to arrive too early, it adds to your wait time needlessly. It also congests the photo-op queue entrance, which inhibits the photo-op staff from getting fans queued. The sessions are set up to limit your time in the queue lines for your photo op. In other words, go check out the awesome vendors, grab a bite, sit to watch a panel or two, or get some sweet autographs!
Step 6: Look at the monitor at the queue entrance for photo ops. Find your photo op on the list, and you will see the queue line number listed when it's open. If you are VIP, have your photo op QR ready and head into the VIP queue shown. If you are not VIP, make sure you have your photo op QR ready and proceed to the line number listed for GA (General Admission). The queue line numbers are on the floor before the corresponding queue line.
Step 7. As your queue line starts moving forward towards the photo op booth, make sure you have any items (backpacks, bags, purses, lanyards, etc.) you do not want to hold or have on your person during your photo off and ready to place into the bins at the booth entrance. Anything that goes into the photo op booth in your hands will have to remain in your hands during your photo. There is nowhere inside the booth to place these items.
Step 8. As you near the booth, you will have your QR scanned in. Be sure to have it ready for the photo op attendant.
Step 9: Drop your items off at the bin near the booth entrance (your bin will be waiting for you by the booth exit).
Step 10: It's time for your photo! Please just listen to the prompts given to you by the attendant in the booth and the photographer, and they will direct you through the process inside the booth. Pro Tip: Photo ops are a fast process, so please be ready as you enter the booth. The photo op booth can be loud (some celebrities like fairly loud music while doing their ops!), so the staff may speak loudly to you. This is not rude, but to keep your attention so you get the best photo possible!
Step 11: Once your photo has been taken, please go ahead and leave the booth, and you will find your items in a bin waiting for you. Grab them, then follow the yellow stripe you will see on the floor, taking you to the print pickup area.
Step 12: Grab your new glossy 8x10 of your photo op! Do a happy dance! Pro Tip: The print pickup area is also where you can purchase a hard sleeve for your photo op or a second printed copy of your photo op.
Step 13: Download that included a digital copy of your photo op!
